Last updated: October 7, 2026

1. Who we are

Laser Custom Designs is operated by Marchant’s School Sport Ltd., an Ontario, Canada business. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Marchant’s School Sport Ltd. operating as Laser Custom Designs.

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit our website, request a quote, use our design tools, place an order or communicate with us online, by email, by telephone or in person.

2. Information we collect

Contact and account information: Your name, email address, telephone number, organization, billing and delivery addresses, account credentials and communication preferences.

Quote, order and customer-service information: Product selections, quantities, personalization details, uploaded files, design choices, proof approvals, delivery or pickup instructions, order history and correspondence relating to your request.

Payment information: Transaction references, payment status and limited payment-method details provided by our payment processors. Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider used for your transaction.

Website and device information: Your IP address, browser and device details, approximate location, referring pages, pages and products viewed, interactions with the website, and information collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We limit collection to information reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy or explained when we collect it. If you provide personal information about someone else, you must have the authority to provide it for the requested service.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, manage accounts, process payments, produce and supply personalized products, arrange shipping or pickup, and provide order updates and customer support.

We also use relevant information for accounting, refunds, dispute handling, fraud prevention, website security, understanding website usage, measuring marketing performance and meeting legal obligations.

We obtain consent where required by law. Depending on the information and purpose, consent may be express or implied—for example, when you provide a delivery address so we can ship your order. Optional marketing and personalized advertising are not conditions of making a purchase. We obtain additional consent where required before using personal information for a new purpose.

4. Sharing information and processing payments

Authorized Marchant’s School Sport personnel may access information needed for sales, production, customer service, shipping, accounting and administration.

We use service providers to support these activities, including BigCommerce for our online store, PrintAppy for design and quote tools, Freshdesk for customer-service communications, ShipAppy for shipping workflows and Stripe for payment processing. Depending on your payment method, a digital-wallet provider, bank or card network may also process your transaction.

We share necessary information with delivery carriers, production and fulfilment partners, and providers of hosting, email, technical support and professional services. We also work with analytics and advertising providers as described below.

Providers processing personal information on our behalf are required to protect it and limit its use to the services they provide for us or applicable legal requirements. Some providers also process information for their own purposes, such as fraud prevention, payment-network compliance or advertising, as explained in their privacy notices and subject to applicable consent requirements.

We may disclose information with your authorization or as permitted or required by law, including in response to valid legal requests. We do not sell or rent customer contact lists.

Please do not send complete payment-card numbers or security codes through ordinary email, quote forms or file uploads.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to operate the website, maintain shopping carts and sign-in sessions, understand visitor activity, measure advertising results and support personalized advertising.

These technologies may collect device and browser information, IP addresses, identifiers, page views, product interactions and purchase events. Analytics and advertising providers may combine this information with information from their own services or other websites to measure campaigns and show advertisements based on your interests.

Non-essential tracking is subject to applicable consent requirements. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and personalized advertising through the privacy controls offered by the relevant provider. These settings may be specific to your browser or device and may not prevent every form of tracking. Blocking essential cookies can affect the cart, checkout and other website functions.

You may contact sales@lasercustomdesigns.ca for details about our analytics and advertising providers or assistance with your privacy choices. You may also withdraw consent to optional uses of your personal information as described below.

6. Marketing communications

We send promotional electronic messages only with the consent or other legal authority required by Canada’s anti-spam legislation.

You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message or by contacting sales@lasercustomdesigns.ca. We honour unsubscribe requests without delay and no later than 10 business days after receiving them.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop non-promotional messages needed to respond to an enquiry, fulfil an order, provide delivery updates or address an account or service issue.

7. Processing outside Canada

Our service providers may store, process or access personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information processed in another country may be subject to that country’s laws and lawful access by its courts, law-enforcement agencies or other authorities.

We remain accountable for information processed on our behalf and require appropriate protection through contractual or other safeguards. Questions about international processing may be directed to our Privacy Officer.

8. Protecting personal information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of personal information, including limiting access to people who need it for their work.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please protect your account credentials and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or a privacy concern involving our services.

9. Your choices, access and correction

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask how it has been used or disclosed, and request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.

You may withdraw consent to future collection, use or disclosure, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. We will explain any consequences, including where necessary information is required to complete a service you have requested. You may also request account closure.

Send privacy requests to sales@lasercustomdesigns.ca, addressed to our Privacy Officer. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.

We respond to written access requests within 30 days, unless a lawful extension applies. If an extension is needed, we notify you within the initial 30 days and explain the reason, revised deadline and your complaint rights. Access is provided at minimal or no cost, with any proposed fee explained in advance. If access is restricted, we explain the reason and available recourse as required by law.

You may raise a concern with our Privacy Officer or make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another privacy regulator with jurisdiction.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The date above identifies the latest revision. We provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain additional consent where required.
